Lot 3149 Fine Remington Double Action New Model Belt Revolver
Manufactured from 1863 to 1873. The top barrel flat is stamped "PATENTED SEPT. 14, 1858/E. REMINGTON & SONS, ILION, NEW YORK, U.S.A./NEW MODEL" and "FB-210" is painted on the butt (likely a museum or previous private collection number). Matching serial number on barrel, both grips and frame, with "345" marked ahead of the loading lever catch. Fitted with smooth varnished grips.

Condition: Very fine. Overall the revolver retains 40% original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina. The cylinder retains 70% blue. The trigger guard retains nearly half of the original silver plating. The grips are very fine with a missing worn chip on the right panel and some minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.
