Lot 3155 Civil War Era Items
1) A map case having belonged to Lt Michael Kelly 109 Rgt. N.Y.Volunteers with information about Kelly taped to the side and stenciled in black "Lt. M. KELLY/109 Rgt. N.Y.V.". 2) Collapsible drinking cup in a black tin, inscribed "C.H. Eager/15 Ms.". information provided by consignor that it belonged to Charles H. Eager who enlisted and mustered in as a 1st Lt. on July 12, 1861, Co. B, 15th Reg't Mass. Infantry Volunteers and resigned as Captain of the same Company/Regiment. 3) Surveyor kit in wooden case with key. 4) Civil War bugle with rare makers mark, "GARRION/partially visible, unreadable".

Condition: 1) Fine. Most of the original green paint remains, there is a 2 1/2 inch cleaned are around the tube that appears to have been period done and there are a few minor dents. 2) Excellent and the tin retains almost all of the black paint. 3) Very good, the lid of the case is slightly warped at the front. 4) Good with a dark natural, untouched aged patina and a couple of large dents and a few small dents. The white leather strap is good with age cracking and soiling.
