Lot 3237 Excellent Colt Bisley Model Single Action Army Revolver

Manufactured in 1907. The revolver has the standard one line Hartford address stamped on top of the barrel, the left side of the barrel is marked (BISLEY MODEL) 32 W.C.F.", and the left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three patent dates followed by the circled Rampant Colt. Matching serial number on the frame, trigger guard, and back strap, with the partial serial number "5681" on the inside of the right grip panel, and the assembly number "4341" on the loading gate. Blue with casehardened frame and hammer. Blade front, frame notch rear sights and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt in an oval at the top.

Condition: Excellent. The revolver retains 95% original blue finish with some mild muzzle and high edge wear, some light scratches and a noticeable drag line on the cylinder. The hammer and frame retain 90% plus of the original case colors with some areas fading to a smooth dove gray patina. The trigger retains 80% original bright niter blue finish. The grips are also excellent with several small minor dings on the toes and very crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
