^Lot 3293 Historic Framed President Ulysses S. Grant Signed Arrest Warrant

This arrest warrant was penned by Ulysses S. Grant when he was President of the United States. The warrant is addressed to Oscar E. Mann, Sheriff of the County of Niagara, New York. It is in regards to fugitive Albert J. Gould who had fled to Canada and authorizes Sheriff Mann to oversee the extradition of Gould. The frame measures 25 1/2" x 21" and the back is glass so that the remainder of the arrest warrant with Grant's signature can be viewed. Professionally framed and matted, with an illustrated portrait of Grant.
