Circa 1857-59. Albany slip covered glaze, cylindrical jar, impression marked on the top edge of the rim "C.W.K" and "2", attributed to Cornwall and Wallace Kirkpatrick of Mound City, Illinois. Measures 11 1/4 inches high with an approximate diameter of 8 inches.

Condition: Fine, with a few small chips around the outer and inner rim and two small old chips on the bottom edge. There are 3 stable hairline cracks all of which are beginning to run through to the inside, and measure approximately 5 inches down from the rim.
