^Lot 3385 Collector's Lot of Two Stoneware Crocks with American Eagle Stencils

1) Five gallon crock with a semi-gloss glaze, marked with raised rough lettering "EAGLE POTTERY CO.," over an eagle motif and "MACOMB, ILL" under the eagle. Grasping handles on each side with dark brown gloss internal glazing. Measures 12 3/4 inches high with an approximate diameter of 12 1/2 inches. 2) Two gallon crock with an orange peel glaze, marked with an impressed "2" on the front and a dark blue or black eagle motif. No maker markings found. Grasping handles on each side with a medium brown internal glaze. Measures 9 1/4 inches high with an approximate diameter of 10 inches.

Condition: 1) The five gallon crock is overall excellent with a small chip on the edge of one handle and two or three tiny chips on the outside. The inside has several scattered small chips and a couple chips along the inside edge. 2) The 2 gallon crock is very good with three chips along the bottom edge along with a few smaller chips in the same area.
