Lot 3571 Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Target Bolt Action Rifle in 243 Winchester
Manufactured in 1955. This is one of 683 Model 70 Target Rifles manufactured in the 243 Winchester caliber. Standard Winchester markings including the factory proof stamped on the left side of the heavy barrel and receiver at the breech. The barrel and receiver are tapped for scope/sight mounting. Polished bolt numbered to the gun, late safety, and straight receiver tang. Mounted on a target stock with sling swivels and checkered flat buttplate.

Condition: Excellent. The rifle retains 98% original blue finish showing some light handling marks (mostly on the floor plate and trigger guard) and gray on the bolt handle. The stock is fine with some chipping and a filled hole in the grip area and some very scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
