^Lot 3615 Marlin Firearms L.C. Smith Field Grade Double Barrel Shotgun

One of only 1.959 L.C. Smith shotguns built by Marlin from 1969 to 1974. Double brass bead sights on the matte vent rib, marked "L.C. Smith 12 Ga.", (gold filled), at the breech end. 2 3/4 inch chambers, choked improved modified/improved modified, with extractor. Standard L.C. Smith and Marlin markings, blue barrels and trigger guard, with casehardened remaining parts, double triggers, tang mounted automatic safety and mounted with a multi point checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with a plastic grip cap and buttplate. Comes with a factory styrofoam container numbered to the gun. Length of pull is 14 inches.
