Lot 3754 U.S. WWII Saginaw M1 Semi-Automatic Carbine with Sling

Manufactured during World War II, this is an example of a Saginaw contract U.S. M1 Carbine. Blade front and two-leaf rear sights, with a Buffalo Armes "9-1943" marked barrel with ordinance bomb marking, flat bolt, milled trigger guard, "ESG" marked button safety, and "KT SG" marked magazine catch and recoil plate. High wood stock, with 2-rivet handguard, "SG" and Ordinance cartouche on right buttstock, oval oiler cut and a green canvas sling.

Condition: Very fine with 97% of the original parkerized finish overall with the barrel exhibiting a couple of very minor scratches. Wood is fine as reoiled with few minor pressure dings and a couple very small areas of very minor scratching. Mechanically excellent.
