Signed and inscribed on the first free-end page in blue ballpoint, “To Tony Curtis, Whose talent as an actor is second only to his talent for being a quite special human being, Sincerely, Hugh Hefner—Playboy.” Some light toning, a few trivial smudges to the signature page, scattered staining to the front cover, and some mild to moderate paper loss to the spine and bottom right corner of the dustjacket, otherwise fine condition. Curtis, a regular at the Playboy mansion and a dear friend of Hefner’s, was well-known for his multiple relationships and marriages, including those with Janet Leigh, Marilyn Monroe, and Christine Kaufmann.
