^Lot 918 Lena Horne

Color vintage 8 x 8.25 paperstock cut-out photo affixed to a 9 x 12 sheet, signed and inscribed on the mount in black ink, “To Edna—Thank you for your very sweet interest—always, Lena Horne.” Above the signature is an original poem entitled, ‘Lady of Beauty (To Lena Horne),’ written in red pencil by an admirer on December 16, 1946. In fine condition, with some light creasing and slightly irregular ink adhesion to the signature and inscription.
