Fantastic TLS signed “Francis Albert,” one page, 6.5 x 8.5, personal letterhead, January 19, 1996. Old Blue Eyes sends birthday wishes to his comedy compatriot, in full: “Dear Sugar Throat! Barbara joins me in wishing you a very happy 100th birthday! and you are hereby invited to my 100th Birthday Party…you better show up, or else!…no excuses…We love you! The Other boy singer…The Kid…Frank Sinatra,” signing at the conclusion and adding adding the post script, “In celebration of your birthday we are sending a bottle of 100-Proof Stolichnaya…Sip it!—you know how crazy you get when you chug—a—lug!” In fine condition. A letter packed with wit and good cheer, no doubt intended to lift the spirits of the frail Burns, who, after suffering from a fall, was unable to attend his birthday celebration.
