Handwritten receipt on an off-white 7.25 x 3 clipped slip. Waller acknowledges a few advances on his salary, signed in green ink, in full, “Thomas ‘Fats’ Waller.” In very good condition, with a central vertical fold passing through a single letter of the signature, two rusty paperclip impressions to the top, and a few paperclip impressions to the bottom edge.
