^Lot 1084 Tallulah Bankhead

TLS signed “Tallulah,” one page, 6.5 x 8.5, personal letterhead, April 2, 1958. Bankhead writes to Mike Connolly, in full: “Thank you so much for your very sweet message during my recent illness—I appreciate it sincerely,” with Broadway actor, Don Torillo, adding a handwritten note below, “Sitting here with Miss Bankhead—She has signed thousands of these, herself. Told her I wanted to say Hi on yours.” In fine condition, with light toning and creasing, and a trivial spot towards the left edge.
