TLS, one page, 5.5 x 7, personal letterhead, September 14, 1959. Leigh writes, in full: “How terribly sweet of you to send me those lovely flowers—thank you very much indeed. I am pleased to say that my eye is now quite better, but it was most thoughtful of you to mention it,” adding a handwritten post script, “Sir Laurence thanks you for the lovely carnation.” In fine condition, with light creasing and toning, and light vertical streaks from previous mounting.
