Best remembered for her role in Jean-Luc Godard’s seminal New Wave classic Breathless, Seberg (1938–1979) was found dead from a probable suicide by barbiturate overdose. Her support of the Black Panthers attracted the attention of the FBI, leading to speculation that her radical political ties contributed to her decision to take her life. Pretty vintage matte-finish 4 x 5 photo, signed in blue ballpoint, “Sincerely, Jean Seberg.” In fine condition, with signature a shade or two light.
