^Lot 1497 Ford Frick

Baseball executive and Hall of Famer (1894–1978). A former New York sportswriter and radio broadcaster, he later served as National League president and commissioner of baseball. Vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 head-and-shoulders photo, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To Mush from Ford Frick 1/25/31.” A couple trivial corner creases, a bit of border soiling, and a bit of scattered light silvering to dark background, otherwise fine condition.
