Lot 1518 Fred Hutchinson
Pitcher for the Detroit Tigers who later went on to manage three different teams. He died of lung cancer at the peak of his managerial career in 1964. Uncommon vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo of Hutchinson in his St. Louis Cardinals uniform, signed in blue ballpoint. Some light skipping to end of signature, a few corner creases, and scattered light silvering to dark background, otherwise fine condition.
