THE SIESTA from a collection of rare prints, many one of a kind in that they are hand-colored. Each print from the collection were literally discovered in the attic of a South Carolina pre-civil war mansion. All of the prints are in excellent condition, the hand-coloring as vivid as the prints themselves are rare. Each print was made by carving the scene, in reverse, into a wood block.
