^Lot 210 Edes Beaver Buggy Robe - Beaver Hide Removed

Likely dates from 1900 to 1915. Just edges of the beaver hide remains where it was sewn to robe. Center of robe now has a cross and circle made out of shells and multi-colored beads - unknown when this modification occurred. Some small areas of moth damage. Original label is on reverse - Edes Robe Tanning Co. Dubuque, Des Moines, St. Paul, Omaha and Sioux Falls. Largest hide and taxidermy company of the period. About 36" x 42"
