Lot 192 Framed In Glass Etching - Four Elements / Aqua
Unknown date of plate impression of this well known image. Original artist - Stefano della Bella as noted on the lower left, engraved about 1648. On the lower right is "ex. Cum Privil. Regis Christ." Etching measures about 8" x 3-1/4", framed size is 14" x 10". There is a scratch at the bottom of the frame. Offered by Original Print Collector's Group, Ltd. circa 1980, and includes tag on reverse.
