Cyprus, ND (ca.1964-79), 500 Mils, P-42s Unlisted Color Trial Banknote Specimen, purple on m/c instead of issued green on m/c, Arms at right, back purple with mountain road lined with trees, No date, Serial number or overprints other than SPECIMEN in red and ÒSpecimen of No ValueÓ on upper left front and back margins plus addition of Ò109Ó, POC, the note would have graded CU to Gem Uncirculated but it was previously mounted and removed on the left back margin which has left slightly translucent paper on the left margin area, otherwise still extremely attractive and rare. BWC, no imprint.
