^Lot 262 Ottoman Empire, 1861 Fourth ÒKaimeÓ Issue Banknote Pair.

Lot of 2 notes, Turkey, AH 1277 (1861), both are 100 Kurush, P-41 Issued banknotes, possibly a color variation, listed with gray underprint, these notes have brownish-red underprint with dark brown printing, The notes grade Fine with edge faults , small edge splits and toning for one and the second would have graded a nice VF to XF but there is a 1.2 inch piece of margin missing that does not touch the design, still scarce early pair of Turkey banknotes.
