Augusta, Georgia, 181x (ca.1814-1819), $5, Unlisted, Seated allegorical woman on bales and barrels on top center, patriotic shield bottom middle, S/N 10, one very small thin on the left side of the note and one miniscule ink burn are the only detracting factors for this Fine to Fine+ condition scarce early Georgia note. Kneass, Young & Co., Philad., Kneass, the printer of this note was the second U.S. Mint engraver from 1824 to 1840.
