Monticello, Georgia, July 25th, 1862, Lot of 2 notes, includes 50 cents and $1, Unlisted, Issued obsolete Banknotes, both are Black on red underprint on thin and translucent onion skin type of paper, the 50 cents note has a small fire engine pumper on top middle with trains on LL and LR; the $1 has Dog resting with key in front of safe on top middle and slave picking cotton with steamboat behind him on left, scarce in any condition.
