Indiana. Lot of 2 notes (uncut sheet of 2), July 1st, 1857 (ca.1960-70's), $50-$100, (IN-2-G296a (proof only issue); G298a (SENC). Modern ÒProprietary ProofsÓ. The $50 proof has portraits of men on lower left and middle and 3 men together on right; the $100 note has portraits of distinguished men on left and right with quartet of male and female reapers in middle. Notches on side margins for printing registration. Black printing with no underprint counterfeit protector, printed on thin white card, Choice to Gem Uncirculated condition. BC&C.
