Colorado, 1864, 10 Shares Issued and Uncancelled, # 704, Small vignette of mine on top right with red 25 cent George Washington Inter. Revenue stamp top left, VF condition with only small creases, Bosqui & Co. Stock was issued to Edwin Booth the brother of John Wilkes Booth and a world renowned Shakespearian actor who also founded the Players Club and dedicated his home at Gramercy Park in Manhattan to it. In 1869 Booth opened his own theatre ÒBooth's TheatreÓ at 23rd and 6th in New York City. The theatre was never financially stable and after the Panic of 1873 the theatre finally went bankrupt in 1874.
