Ohio, 19xx (1920-1930's), $100000 and $25000, 1st Mortgage 5% Gold Specimen Bond Series C, Black on orange border and underprint and black on brown border and underprint, Vignette top center of the Cincinnati Union Terminal, Red SPECIMEN overprints and POC's, VF-XF condition, HBNC. Beautiful bonds used for the construction of the Art Deco station which was completed in 1933 and which at the time had the largest half dome building in existence. Facismile signatures of the presidents of the 7 railroad companies that agreed to this ÒunionÓ of stations are on the reverse side. Total cost of the project was just over $41 million.
