Collection of documents relating to part of the Hamilton Carlow Estate from circa 1887-1910. Including deed dated 1877 assinging Erindale to James Dolan of Bennkerry, Carlow, a Yeoman, another titled the "Surrender of Erindale" by James to Dolan to The Right Hon. Ion T. Hamilton. An architect's plan by Frederick Shaw of Drogheda dated 1895 with proposed additions and alterations to Erindale House, which was built in 1810 and originally owned by the Duke of Wellington. Also other documents including letters from architects, from a Major Strickland of Fermoy, Co. Cork. (100+ items)
