Monochrome photographs, various sizes.A unique and excellent album of high quality Irish Press photographs taken during John Fitzgerald Kennedy's visit to Ireland in 1963. Including his arrival at Dublin Airport, meeting with Eamon de Valera and with Sean Lemass, cavalcade travelling through Irish streets, addressing the Dáil, Arbour Hill, Áras an Uachtaráin, in Wexford including placing a wreath at the John Barry statue, in Limerick and Cork receiving the Freedom of the City and many others. Numerous images from each event showing a relaxed and happy Kennedy just a few months before his death. Also with other Kennedy photographs including family photographs, Ted Kennedy's car accident and wire photographs relating to JFK's death and funeral. (110 items)
