The Peter Mandelson snake puppet used by Spitting Image. With the head of Mandelson on the body of a snake. Regularly featured, particularly around the neck of Tony Blair. Mandelson succeeded Mo Mowlam in October 1999 as Secretary of State for Northern Ireland - in his first speech in the post he referred to himself as "Secretary of State for Ireland".
