ARAB-SASANIAN: Mu'awiya, 661-680, AR drachm (4.05g), DA (Darabjird), frozen year 43, A-14, struck circa AH52-54, but with frozen year 43, scratches in the margin, probably due to modern cleaning, Extremely Fine, R. This is the first Islamic coin to bear the name of the caliph, Mu'awiya, who ruled AH41-60. No other coin types bear his name.
