Lot 1781 Sultan, Jem
Heiss, Aloiss, Descripcion General de las Monedas Hispano-Cristianas desde la Invasion de los Arabes: Tomos 1-3, in three volumes, originally published in Madrid, 1865-1869, reprinted in Zaragoza, 1962, volume I (433 pages), volume II (502 pages), volume III (298 pages), Spanish text. The old standard reference on post-Islamic Spain. The coin descriptions include full legends, and there are wonderful line drawings of the coins. A great reference that has not been replaced by more modern references like Cayon and Castan. The reprint is very well done.
