Massive English folding Bowie knife, marked Wilson Hawksworth and Moss, showing 12" thick stock blade, 18" overall, German silver mounts, with pearl gripscales and push button release and back lock. The knife is oflarge and thick proportions and remains in good to very good original condition, some light cleaning and polishing on blade, some minor erosion, very thick back edge and precision grinding and manufacture. Thepearl grips are good showing expert small repairs. One of the best and biggest folders we have seen, nearly 1-1/4" across the thickest part of blade that is almost 5/16" wide at widest point.
