The rifle shows 30-50% original blue evenly drifting and toning, some light erosion andpinprick pitting just starting; normal imperfections, minor scratches, normal aging, good sharp markings, some bright blue where protected. Period sights in correct dovetails, wood good with a few scratches,one or two gouges, normal aging, 50% blue on the loading gate, traces of case hardening on hammer and lever.
