Winchester Model 1897 factory marked trap gun, 12 gauge, 30" barrel, with Damascus pattern on barrel, blued frame, deluxe checkered burl wood stock with black diamond inlays at wrist and factory engraved monogram on left showing "JB" intertwined, #141591. The barrel shows traces of original finish and most of the light pattern Damascus, the frame and magazine tube show 50-60% thinning and toning, original blue; the stocks havebeen lightly refinished, the butt stock measures 12" from the frame to the end of the wood and shows an extended pad and inlay of wood at bottom of stock. The stock measures 13-1/8" from the frame to the end of theadded butt pad, the bolt is engraved "trap gun" on right side by the factory; good action, bright bore and modified choke.
