Commemorative Bowie knife from Republic of Texas Series entitled "Sons of the Republic" serial #001, 15-1/2" overall with 10-1/8" blade, presentation display cased with fancy etched blade showing portraits of SteveAustin and Sam Houston on one side with Alamo and Texas battle scenes; reverse shows Dwight D. Eisenhower and Lyndon Johnson with military and inaugural scenes. The knife shows a select hardwood handle, probablyrosewood. The condition is excellent with some slight spotting to the wood grip which would more than likely polish out. A very impressive and big knife. Est.: $350-$700
