Early leather case for 2-barrel shotgun, with maker tag Capt. A. H. Hardy, manufacturer, Beverly Hills. Hardy was a famous trick shooter and made fine cases in his later years. There is a silver plaque inlaid intothe top of the case with 3 initials "J.J.J.". The case is made for a 30" set of barrels and a 26" set of barrels on a small frame shotgun. Condition is good to very good, showing some normal use. Hardy made casesfor the movie stars, particularly Clark Gable, Robert Stack, etc. Est.: $200-400
