U.S. Remington “Zouave” percussion military rifle, .58 cal., 33” barrel, lockplate and barrel dated 1863, brass furniture including patchbox, iron ramrod, sling swivels, attached nipple protector, wood stock. Thisgun is in overall very good condition showing a bright finish on the barrel with scattered pin prick pitting, silver toning of case colors on lockplate, good bore, action and markings, wood stock is overall very goodwith two crisp inspector’s cartouches on the left wrist area of the stock; one of the workhorses of the American Civil War.
