Desirable Colt Model 1851 U.S. “Navy-Navy” percussion revolver with “U.S.N” and “J.L.H.” markings on butt strap, .36 cal., 7-1/2” octagon barrel, blue and case hardened finish, iron straps, wood grips, #59216. This gun is in overall very good + condition showing a grey/brown patina to barrel and cylinder with traces of case color on the frame, rammer and hammer with balance gone primarily to a silvery toning; crisp action,all matching visible serial numbers including the wedge and cylinder arbor; considerable original cylinder scene remaining; good bore, good to very good grips with some old wear and mars from carry and storage.
