Remington Model 1890 Single Action Army revolver, .44-40 cal., 5-1/2” barrel, nickel finish, checkered hard rubber grips, #834. This gun is in overall very good condition showing approx. 30% original finish withremaining a matching grey patina; some scratching to metal on both sides of the frame and some scattered areas of erosion and pin prick pitting; good action and bore, markings are good, grips are overall goodshowing even wear and a couple old losses on the lower portion of the right grip; lanyard ring present. A very desirable Remington cartridge revolver, this quite scarce successor to the Model 1875 Army wasmanufactured between 1891 and 1896 with only approx. 2,020 units produced. Est.: $2,000-$4,000.
