Colt Single Action Bisley Model revolver, .38-40 cal., 7-1/2" barrel, western style scroll engraved, silver plated, ivory grips, #245355. The revolver shows a star on the rear of right trigger guard bow indicatingreturn to the factory. No factory letter is available at time of cataloging. The engraving is well accomplished and in a factory or New York pattern. The revolver shows and old replating which has darkenedfrom age, with good edges, sharp markings and crisp metal surfaces. The ivory grips are well fitted and show some cracking, aging and yellowing; the markings are sharp, the action is crisp, the bore is bright, thefront sight is trimmed just a hair.
