Winchester Model 1876 lever action saddle ring carbine, .45-75 cal., 22" round barrel, military type rear sight, #44112 in North West Mounted Police range. The carbine shows a patina finish with faint traces of bluemixed in, some scattered pitting and erosion, markings slightly light but visible, stocks fair to good with dings, mars and scratches from use and storage. Confirmed as North West mounted Police issued and A.P.P. 95indicates sold to Alberta Provincial Police January 23, 1919 for use in combating the North West Rebellion.
