Smith & Wesson military and police .38 special cal. double action pre-war revolver with 4" barrel, blued finish, checkered wood grips, serial #477076. The revolver remains in fine to excellent original condition with97-99% original bright blue, very slight losses at edges and muzzle with faint index line. The grips are excellent, the hammer and trigger show 90-95% colorful case hardening. The action is tight; there isdried grease in the bore and front of the cylinders and the pistol needs a cleaning. Very little use, absolutely good enough condition for a cardboard box to be added. Est.: $350-$700
