Scarce 1887 Marlin DA .38 cal. revolver, period scroll engraved nickel finish, pearl grips, serial #10310. The revolver shows 75-85% original nickel, drifting on cylinder muzzle and gripping areas. Some lighterosion and natural aging just starting; the hammer and trigger show 50-70% case hardening, the trigger guard shows 50% toning original blue. The markings are sharp, the bore is good, the grips are good and would be very good except a couple of small chips at the top of each grip. From a prominent San Diego collector. Est.: $800-$1,600
