This gun is in overall very good condition showing considerable muted blue finish on thebarrel, case colors on receiver have gone to a silvery tone with scattered spots of light pitting; good bore, crisp action and good markings; wood stocks are overall very good with some old slight mars and wear from carry and storage; unusual features on this gun include the safety locking action of the New York State Militia contract with a Lawrence modified rear sight and a flip up Beeches front sight.
