The carbine shows a dark brown patina finish with traces of blue case hardening mixed in, scattered light to moderate surface pitting with a fewareas of slightly heavier pitting mostly on the edges of the barrel. The stocks are good to very good with normal aging, small losses, dings, mars, scratches, and a faint trace of cartouche behind saddle ring bar.The correct small parts and sights are retained, the action is good, the bore is dirty and packed with grease, but looks like it would clean to good or better.
