1866 Winchester saddle ring carbine, .44 rimfire cal., serial #123678. The barrel and magazine tube show a dark and smooth brown patina finish with traces of blue mixed in. The barrel address is slightly light, theframe and butt plate show light cleaning long ago and a few nicks, mars and scratches, but at least good with tight side plates. The stocks are good to very good with some scratches, marks from saddle ring, deepscratch in forend from removal of band, some dents, mars and a stamp in the wood behind the tang. The original sights and small parts are retained; there is a rod in the butt. The action is good, the bore is rough. Est.: $4,000-$8,000
