Colt Model 1877 Lightning revolver, .38 Colt cal., 4-1/2" barrel, blue and case hardened finish, hard rubber grips, made post 1900, #148178. The revolver retains 90-95% original blue drifting at edges and gripping areas.There are some minor scratches and just beginning normal age. The metal surfaces are sharp and crisp, the markings are all well defined. There is some slight edge wear on the grips, the small parts and screws showmost of their original finish.
