Colt Model 1851 London Series Navy revolver, .36 cal. percussion, traces of original blue and case hardened finish, wood grips showing Canadian markings on left grip "L C (Lower Canada) B 39", serial #27993, fully matching. The metal surfaces show strong traces of blue and case hardening going to a pleasing brown with sharp markings, good edges and very good grips. The cylinder shows 75-85% scene, full engagement dates and mostlyvisible Ornsby signature. Good markings, sharp edges, tight action, bright bore. Our consigner was an old time Canadian collector who looked 50 years to find an all matching lower Canada in nice condition. The greatmajority of the Lower Canada's are not matching due to arsenal reassembly. Only approximately 700 Upper and Lower Canada's were produced. A strong 8+ on 1 to 10 scale. Est.: $3,500-$7,000
